Hey everyone! Hope you’re having a great week. It's been pretty weird this week going to complete online lessons and stuff but we have had some really good lessons. 

Being in our apartment for most of the time can be really boring so me and Elder Corry decided to take some walks outside in the neighborhood. When we were walking one time we got honked at by someone passing by. We think it was a member which was cool and funny to see them.

On Tuesday we made a Jesus wall in our apartment this week as well haha. We got bored and took one of the Come Follow Me books apart and used all the Jesus pictures from it. It looks super cool and gives some color to our apartment. 

We also made a sweet video later that day at the church with Elder Corry making this trick shot with a football into a basketball hoop. It's so funny haha.

For dinners this week we could only pick them up or have the members drop it off to us which really stunk. We wish we could eat with the members and get to know them but we have to follow the rules and be safe. We got a ton of food from them though. The fridge inside the church is starting to have lots of leftovers and stuff from all our dinners. We have lots of desserts left over haha.  (Ready for Conference haha). 

One of the funny stories this week about dinner was on Wednesday. Me and Elder Corry went to pick up dinner and when we knocked on the door the members gave us the dinner but they only gave us enough food for the 2 of us when there was gonna be 4 of us. So we started driving away not sure what to do. Than Elder Corry said "wait I have a idea" we turned around and decided to ask the same members if they had any people that we could reach out to or "referrals" for the other Elders. Than they were like "wait the other Elders aren’t coming, we have food for them to" so they went and grabbed the other half of the food for us to bring back. It was super funny and ended up all working out great. We were just super glad Elder Corry had that idea for us to go back. We also were able to get a referral for the Elders as well so that was super great too. 

One of the really cool experiences we had this week was with the Franco family. We first called them to see if we could have a video call lesson and when they picked up we just talked for a little bit and the mom told us how that they had been greatly impacted from us teaching her young daughters how to pray and stuff. She was so grateful for us and told us that her kids and her pray every day now. The spirit was really strong and one of her daughters gave a prayer on the phone and was praying for us and all the missionaries in the world to be safe. It was really cool to see them praying and creating that relationship with our Heavenly Father. 

We dropped off Books of Mormons at their house this week also and it felt like we were door bell ditching because we can’t proselytize outside. But we waited at our car to see if they answered and so when they did we waved and then left. 

We got our transfer news early this week. On Thursday night our Mission President had a call with the mission and he was just getting us updated information and talking about how the mission is getting all these missionaries from other missions. Then he said that he was gonna send out transfer news early because there were missionaries going home early and stuff. Me and Elder Corry looked and each other and were like, Dang already. haha

I'll be staying in Buena Vista B again for this next transfer. I'm excited about it but I do want to have a new area and see another part of the mission too. 

On Friday we had some online video lessons with some members which was really fun and we talked about Come Follow Me. We also got to call home and have a family home evening lesson with our families which was super cool and fun to talk about Come follow Me. Elder Tutor’s mom ordered a fast food Asian restaurant called KONGS to us. It didn’t get to the church until 9. 

On Saturday we were at the church most of the day. For some reason the fire alarm went off and it's been going off and is still going off today. We called the building coordinator to try and fix the problem but they didn't even know what to do. Soo we just gave up and are going to another church for right now haha. The new missionaries in our district are Elder Sunquist and Sister Ibarra. From all the missionaries coming into our mission next week there might be an increase of 200 missionaries. 

It's pretty crazy with all the stuff happening but I read this scripture while studying Come Follow Me this week in Words of Mormon 1:7 

7 And I do this for a wise purpose; for thus it whispereth me, according to the workings of the Spirit of the Lord which is in me. And now, I do not know all things; but the Lord knoweth all things which are to come; wherefore, he worketh in me to do according to his will.

I know that the lord knows all things that are happening right now and He knows everything that is going to happen. If we have trust in Him and follow his commandments and do our best then we will be protected.
